Historical documentation partnered with artistic consideration has been the benchmark to my photography both as a studio photographer and a photojournalist. Watching with great anticipation as my first black and white print came to life in a makeshift USO tent in Vietnam, it spawned a passion for photography that has yet to wane.

Honing my skills through countless rolls of film was my classroom, living and working in the Washington D.C. area was my proving grounds for the many political, social and cultural events documented through my eyes and displayed on this site. Owning my own portrait studio for twenty years gave me the autonomy to experiment at great lengths and grow not only as a portrait/commerical photographer but also gave me the freedom to switch gears to fullfill a lifetime dream of photojournalism. Freelancing for the Associated Press, Washington Post and as chief photographer for a daily Northern Virginia newspaper, I broke my own restraints of editorial enrichment that deepens my desire to document every facet of this incredible life we lead.

Relocating to Naples, Florida to be closer to family has renewed my desire to share just a small portion of my world, my passion. Should you need assistance in Southwest Florida or need someone to travel...I'm here, let's go!
